FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas men's basketball forward Trevon Brazile, who previously entered the NBA Draft and is still on the league's early entry candidate list, is reportedly entering the NCAA transfer portal. On3 first reported the news.

The deadline to enter the portal is midnight Wednesday.

ESPN previously reported that Brazile was forgoing his two remaining years of collegiate eligibility to pursue an NBA career, but it appears that he is maintaining that eligibility. Brazile announced he was entering the draft on April 8 following the news of former coach Eric Musselman's departure for Southern Cal and the hiring of new coach John Calipari.

The 6-10 redshirt sophomore forward, who joined the Razorbacks following his freshman season at Missouri, averaged 8.9 points and 5.9 rebounds this season. Brazile is a three-level scoring threat with NBA-level size and length but dealt with some consistency issues that might have hurt his draft stock. He averaged over a block per game.

Brazile missed seven games in the middle of SEC play with knee soreness, though it is not known whether it was in the same knee in which he tore his anterior cruciate ligament during the 2022-23 season.

He is the 10th player from last season's team to have entered the transfer portal, joining Joseph Pinion, Tramon Mark, Davonte 'Devo' Davis, Khalif Battle, Baye Fall, Keyon Menifield, Denijay Harris, Layden Blocker and walk-on Cade Arbogast. Of those players, only Pinion (Arkansas State), Mark (Texas) and Fall (Kansas State) have announced their next schools.

Players who have entered the portal could still return to the team should the coaching staff invite them back. Five other players from this season's team exhausted their eligibility. The only player returning from this past season is walk-on Lawson Blake.

Since Calipari took over, the Razorbacks have gotten six new commitments — transfers Zvonimir Ivisic (Kentucky), Jonas Aidoo (Tennessee) and Johnell Davis (Florida Atlantic) and freshmen Karter Knox, Johnuel 'Boogie' Fland and Billy Richmond.
