Pashinyan will not attend EAEU forum in Minsk on June 26-27

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will not attend the Eurasian Economic Union  (EEU) forum in Minsk on June 26-27; the Armenian side will participate in the event remotely, as stated by Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov following a meeting with President Alexander  Lukashenko to discuss preparations for the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and the Eurasian Economic Forum. He also  shared some details some details about the upcoming high-level events  with journalists

As reported by Belarus Segodnya, Ryzhenkov specifically noted that  following the Eurasian Economic Forum, on June 26, a plenary session  of the forum is scheduled to take place at the Minsk International  Exhibition Center The President of Belarus along with  heads of  delegations from other countries, will participate in this session.  "Today, we can confirm the participation of the leaders of the EAEU  countries, as well as observer countries - Uzbekistan, Cuba.  Delegations from the UAE, Mongolia, and Nicaragua have also expressed  interest in participating. At the plenary session, delegation heads  will share their perspectives on regional development, trade,  economic, and financial matters, and present their vision of the  current global situation."

 The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs noted that on June 27, a  meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council will be held with  the participation of all the leaders of the EAEU countries, except  Armenia. The Armenian side will attend the meeting via video  conference. It is expected that in narrow and extended formats, the  heads of state will discuss the current agenda and make important  decisions on the prospects for the development of the union. "It is  also planned that two agreements on trade and economic cooperation  between the EAEU and Mongolia, and the EAEU and the United Arab  Emirates will be signed," Maxim Ryzhenkov said. He emphasized that  within the framework of all these events, an official visit of the  President of Cuba to Belarus will take place. Additionally, the  Belarusian side is planning an official visit of the President of  Iran.
